The Hardys Finish Up With WWE NXT

Matt & Jeff of The Hardys have made a handful of cameo appearances in NXT over the last few weeks, defeating both No Quarter Catch Crew and NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom, successfully defending their TNA World Tag Team Championships against the latter at NXT Roadblock this past week. 

Fans should not expect to see The Hardys turn up again in NXT any time soon though, as Matt Hardy has revealed on the Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast that their current spell with WWE’s developmental brand has come to an end… for now. 

“We do have some stuff on our schedule to do with WWE a little later on down the road. Nothing specifically with NXT yet.”

Co-host on the podcast Jon Alba posed the question of what his other ‘stuff’ with WWE entailed.

“Just stuff. I’m going to leave it at that right now. We have stuff lined up with WWE.”

It was reported in recent weeks that WWE had not yet discussed a main roster run for The Hardys in WWE, with their appearances confined solely to NXT.
