WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle Hasn't Ruled Out Returning To The Ring

He retired back at WrestleMania 35...

Kurt Angle hasn't stepped inside the squared circle since WrestleMania 35 when he retired in a match with Baron Corbin. Many thought the match largely fell flat and Angle himself has previously admitted he wanted his final bout to be against John Cena, but Vince McMahon wanted him to face Corbin to end their long-running rivalry.

The Wrestling Machine recently sat down for an interview with Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated and admitted he is "almost 100 percent" certain that he won't wrestle again, but hasn't ruled out stepping inside the ring for one more match if his body heals.

"I'm almost 100 percent I won't wrestle again, but if I did, that's the direction I would have went," Angle said. "I imagine WWE was going to go with me managing Riddle and then, eventually, probably a match between the two of us.

"Right now, I can't. Could my mind be changed? Yes, for two reasons. I'm working on my business, and I've been doing a lot of rehab on my body, trying to get myself back to where I'm able to live a healthy lifestyle. I'd been so banged up - my neck, my back, and my neck - but I'm making improvements. If I get to the point where I feel I can do it, then I'll probably do it. But right now, I have to focus on my body."
