On Monday night, Jaxson Ryker was condemned by his fellow WWE Superstars and other prominent figures in the wrestling world after he posted a pro-Trump tweet.

The Forgotten Son wrote: "Thankful for the ‪@POTUS we have! God bless America. Built of freedom. Forgotten No More."

Ryker's tweet came only hours after President Trump called protestors at the George Floyd protests "terrorists" and said he would deploy the United States military if cities refused "to take the actions necessary to defend the life and property of their residents."

Now, a Facebook post of Ryker's from July 2019 has resurfaced in which the SmackDown Superstar called Black Lives Matter "garbage" and said people of any colour need to realise "how good you all actually have it." Ryker has since made the post private.

The US Marine Veteran posted: "Pretty touchy subject but all this black lives matter garbage baffles me. I challenge anyone of any color or race to go watch 12 years a slave, the movie and realize how good you all actually have it. Learn heritage. Christ, Gandhi, Budda; they all Taught love and caring for others. This is getting out of hand. I Pray for this nation daily."
