TNA Wrestling have tied down commentary team Matthew Rehwoldt and Tom Hannifan, with both men signing contract extensions with the company.

The duo have served as TNA’s commentary team since 2022, and TNA President Carlos Silva has revealed to Sports Illustrated that the company has extended the duo’s contracts, although the exact nature of the deals and their new expiration dates remains unknown at the time of writing.

Hannifan joined TNA/IMPACT in January 2022, replacing Josh Matthews as lead announcer, before signing a new deal with the promotion in early 2023. Rehwoldt originally debuted for IMPACT as an in-ring competitor in 2021 before transitioning into the announcer’s booth, replacing D’Lo Brown as colour commentator.

The re-signing of the duo will present some stability for TNA, who despite having a record breaking year and renewed visibility due to their working relationship with WWE, have undergone a raft of changes behind the scenes with the likes of Gail Kim released by the company amongst others - a massive decision by President Silva. Silva himself has only been in the hot seat since December 2024.
