WWE Hall Of Famer Wants Brock Lesnar To Have Match With Ronda Rousey

"Now hold on a minute, playa!"

On a recent edition of WrestleBinge with Sportskeeda, former SmackDown GM and WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long pitched a very unique match-up between Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey. Long stated:

"Hey, let me tell you something [...] that's not a bad idea. Well, with the merger with UFC now, you know what I mean? [...] That's money right there. [Ronda] would probably feel better doing that because she is in her own playground then. You know what I mean? You can get more out there because she is now doing what she knows how to do."

Ronda famously made her WWE debut in a mixed tag match, teaming with Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34.

Lesnar is currently set to face Cody Rhodes at WWE's upcoming Backlash event in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is set to take place on May 6 and includes the following matches:

  • Bianca Belair (c) vs. IYO SKY - Raw Women's Championship
  • Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Zelina Vega - SmackDown Women's Championship
  • Austin Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Bronson Reed - United States Championship
  • Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle vs. The Usos and Solo Sikoa
  • Seth Rollins vs. Omos
  • Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest - Street Fight
