WWE & IMPACT Wrestling Officials Reportedly Meet At WWE Headquarters
Messrs Nordholm and D'Amore were at Titan Towers...

According to a
report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, IMPACT Wrestling officials Ed Nordholm and Scott D'Amore met with several WWE officials last week at WWE HQ in Stamford, CT. PWInsider has had this firmed up by several sources, and also report that while Vince McMahon was not in attendance, several members of "Triple H's team" were.
It's said the meeting took place in the middle of last week after Nordholm and D'Amore returned to the states following an appearance at Wrestling MediaCon in Manchester, England, and just before the pair jetted off to Mexico for a set of IMPACT tapings.
At the time of writing, it's unclear what the meeting was about, although Johnson does cite one WWE source who claims it was a "general discussion about the two companies and as a chance to get everyone in the same room as opposed to a specific negotiation."
IMPACT is, of course, owned by Anthem Media, a company WWE has worked with in recent times. WWE paid licence fees so they could use old TNA footage on Network shows like Something Else To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard, and WWE 24.
PWInsider also notes that IMPACT officials declined to comment when approached on the matter, with one source from the company specifically stressing "that the meetings were not regarding the sale of either Impact Wrestling as a company or it's video library, stating neither are for sale."
I'm sure this isn't the last we'll hear about these meetings, and it'll be interesting to see what comes as a result of them.
