WWE may be heading back to Australia in 2025.

According to West Australian, WWE and the local government are in negotiations over the company returning to Perth, Australia in 2025. The government is remaining 'tight-lipped' about the talks but Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti said:

"We're constantly pursuing these types of unique and exclusive events that attract visitors to our beautiful State, particularly ones that we know are incredibly popular like UFC and WWE."

WWE have only held two major events in Australia with Super ShowDown 2018 and Elimination Chamber 2024. This year's event was held at Perth's Optus Stadium and had over 50,000 fans in attendance. Elimination Chamber was main evented by Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax for the Women's World Championship.

WWE have held more international pay-per-views in recent years and other countries to host major WWE events include the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.

All Elite Wrestling have already announced they will hold Grand Slam Australia on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium. The show will be AEW's first-ever event in Australia but ticket sales for Grand Slam Australia have reportedly been poor.
