Indy Star Expected To Sign With WWE Following Tryout

WWE held tryouts in the United Kingdom on March 29 and March 30 during the company's tour of Europe ahead of WrestleMania 41 and another name who WWE are signing has been revealed.

According to Fightful Select's Corey Brennan, Zozaya is expected to sign with WWE and he will join the company in September 2025. Zozaya is currently a university student but will finish his degree in June.

Zozaya has been wrestling for several years, initially performing in Spain before establishing himself on the United Kingdom and Ireland independent wrestling scenes competing for the likes of RevPro, PROGRESS, and FFPW. Zozaya also wrestled for Pro Wrestling NOAH earlier this year from January 1 to March 2.

Fightful Select noted that talents from the tryouts were called by WWE following WrestleMania 41 and those who were not signed received feedback in early May.

Beyond Zozaya, Cultaholic exclusively revealed earlier today that WWE are also signing Aigle Blanc and Mike D Vecchio.
