WWE issued a press release on Friday, regarding the numerous allegations that have been made toward, among others, several of their own wrestlers.

The statement reads, "Individuals are responsible for their own personal actions. WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such conduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.

"WWE's ability to fine, suspend, or terminate a WWE talent will not be, however, limited or compromised in any manner in the event incontrovertible evidence of such illegal misconduct is presented to WWE."

Some of the allegations of misconduct have named performers across several of WWE's brands, including, among others, recent SmackDown call-up Matt Riddle, and reigning NXT Cruiserweight champion Jordan Devlin. These allegations have been levied by individuals (with some choosing to remain anonymous) on social media through the hashtag #SpeakingOut.

WWE has stated that they have opened investigations into the allegations made against Riddle and Devlin.
