WWE Main Roster Name Potentially Moving To NXT

Another WWE main roster name linked with NXT move

With NXT set to move to The CW later in 2024, WWE have been busy re-establishing the black and gold brand as the third arm of WWE TV alongside Raw and SmackDown after having relegated NXT back to developmental status during the ‘2.0’ experiment.

Part of WWE’s re-figuring of NXT has seen several main roster stars move to the brand either temporarily or permanently, and a report from Fightful Select suggests that Tegan Nox could be set to move to the show.

NXT officials have reportedly been requesting to use Nox since before the WWE Draft, with sources revealing that Nox is expected to have a run on the show soon with no main roster plans in the works for the Welsh star.

Nox previously wrestled as part of NXT from 2017 until 2021, returning to NXT briefly in October 2023 as part of an angle with Lyra Valkyria. One NXT talent claimed that Nox has ‘unfinished business’ on the brand. Nox’s time in WWE has been hampered by injuries, but since returning from injury in November 2023 Nox has had a clean bill of health, with Tegan's last WWE bout coming at a Belfast house show on April 20, 2024.
