WWE Money In The Bank 2019 Confirmed For Hartford, Will Take Place In May

The popular PPV gets moved back...

The day and place of the tenth annual WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view was confirmed on Monday, days after the remaining 2019 pay-per-views had their dates and locations reported by outside sources.

The official Twitter of Hartford, CT's XL Center tweeted out that they will be hosting the 2019 Money in the Bank event, to take place on Sunday, May 19.

The date marks a departure from previous Money in the Bank pay-per-views. Since spinning off into a standalone event in 2010, the first four incarnations took place in July, while the 2014-18 events occurred in June.

This will be the first time that there are no North American pay-per-views bridging the gap between WrestleMania and Money in the Bank (an unnamed Saudi Arabia event is set for Friday, May 3).

Tickets for Money in the Bank will go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 8, at 10 AM Eastern time.

Money in the Bank will be the fifth WWE pay-per-view to emanate from Hartford, and the first since Vengeance 2004 was held in the city. WrestleMania 11 was held in the XL Center in 1995, when it was still known as the Hartford Civic Center.
