Kickoff Show: Jeff Hardy def. Cesaro

Many fans are still feeling pained by Jeff Hardy's lie. The Charismatic Enigma told us he would be using No More Words as his entrance theme going forward but he again came out to the old Hardy Boyz theme.

The announcers put over that Cesaro was still friends with his former tag team partner Sheamus as the justification for the match.

Both Superstars exchanged counters in the early going until Cesaro gained control after he threw Hardy off the barricade.

The Swiss Cyborg proceeded to work over the former WWE Champion's neck and midsection for a number of minutes. Hardy tried to come back on three occasions, but Cesaro quickly regained control on each occasion.

Eventually, Cesaro went for a Gutwrench Suplex from the top rope, but Jeff fought him off and delivered Whisper In The Wind. This hobbled the five-time WWE Tag Team Champion and Hardy connected with the Twist Of Fate soon after.

After kicking out at two, Cesaro mustered enough strength to hit the Gutwrench Suplex from the top rope at the second attempt. It wasn't enough to put his opponent away, however, as Jeff kicked out at two.

With both men suffering from injuries, The Charismatic Enigma eventually managed to pick up the win after he tossed Cesaro into the steel steps. He then threw The Swiss Cyborg into the ring and connected with the Swanton Bomb for the 1-2-3.

The New Day def. Lucha House Party, The Miz & John Morrison, & The Forgotten Sons to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

Gran Metalik and Kofi Kingston started off the match. The Forgotten Sons then entered the match as Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler took out everybody. The former NXT tag team didn't last long, however, as John Morrison tagged himself into the bout and he and Metalik took out all the other Superstars with a Spanish Fly to the outside.

The contest then settled down as all four teams took turns in dominating the match.

The Miz & John Morrison almost won the gold as The Prince Of Parkour hit Big E with Starship Pain, but Lucha House Party broke up the pin. Big E then took more of a battering as Gran Metalik almost won the match after winning 'E with a Flying Elbow but Blake and Cutler stopped the referee from counting the pinfall.

Eventually, Big E recovered from all the punishment he received and hit the Big Ending on Gran Metalik for the win.

Bobby Lashley def. R-Truth

R-Truth led everyone in attendance in a "What's Up?" chant. MVP then cut a promo and told 'Truth he knew nothing about Ballin'.

Suddenly, Bobby Lashley's music played and The All Mighty made his way to the ring. He told MVP he could take the night off and the impromptu match began.

Lashley's involvement in the match was not explained on commentary, but he must have wanted revenge after 'Truth cost him the Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy at Super ShowDown.

After a quick back and forth contest, Lashley hit the former 24/7 Champion with a Spear for the pinfall victory.

Bayley def. Tamina to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship

Before Bayley made her entrance, Charly Caruso disgracefully tried to sow dissension between the SmackDown Women's Champion and her best friend Sasha Banks.

Bayley tried to anger Tamina as she pushed her in the face. It worked as Snuka proceeded to dominate the former Huggable One.

It didn't take long for Bayley to gain the upper hand, however, as she worked over Tamina's right knee, smashing her leg into the ring post and delivering vicious Drop Kicks to the injured knee.

Bayley worked over the knee even more as she locked in a Kneebar after Tamina went for a Superkick. The SmackDown Women's Champion then further disrespected the challenger as she threw a bottle of water into Tamina's face.

This only ignited a fire in Tamina as AJ Lee's former enforcer tossed Bayley into the barricade and connected with a brutal Superkick. Snuka then tossed the champion over the announcers' table.

The action re-entered the ring soon after and Tamina had the match won as she connected with the Samoan Drop. Before she could go for the cover, however, Sasha Banks rolled into the ring and distracted the challenger.

This allowed Bayley to lock in the Crucifix Pin for the 1-2-3.

Braun Strowman def. Bray Wyatt to retain the Universal Championship

Bray Wyatt came to the ring in a jumper and pants and complemented Michael Cole and Corey Graves on their commentary.

Braun Strowman was in no mood for Wyatt's mind games as he quickly overpowered the challenger.

The Universal Champion then tried to connect with a Running Shoulder Tackle on the outside but Wyatt countered and tossed him over the announcer's table. Huskus The Pig Boy then encouraged Wyatt to go on the offensive and Wyatt attacked his former protege.

Bray landed Sister Abigail soon after, but Strowman powered out at two. Wyatt then tried to put away the champion and went for a second Sister Abigal but Braun countered into a Chokeslam.

The two then fought back and forth but Wyatt was distracted after Strowman put the black sheep mask on. The two Superstars then hugged in the centre of the ring but Strowman proved it was all a ruse as he stomped on the mask and picked up Wyatt for the Running Powerslam.

He then covered his former mentor and pinned him to retain the Universal Championship.

This won't be the end of the rivalry, however, as The Fiend suddenly flashed across the screen while Wyatt thought about what had just happened.

Drew McIntyre def. Seth Rollins to retain the WWE Championship

Seth Rollins debuted new entrance music and entered as only The Monday Night Messiah can.

The two Superstars grappled back and forth in the early going but Drew McIntyre managed to use his strength to overpower the challenger.

The Monday Night Messiah managed to gain the upper hand soon after and proceeded to work over McIntyre's knee. Eventually, The Scottish Psychopath managed to dig deep and fought his way back into the contest.

Both Superstars then tried to hit their signature offence but failed. McIntyre left Rollins in disbelief soon after as he managed to kick out at one after the former Universal Champion connected with a Frog Splash. Rollins resorted to picking up a steel chair but he tossed it to the floor before he could use it and went for the Stomp instead.

McIntyre managed to quickly counter into the Glasgow Kiss, however, and the WWE Champion and his challenger battled back and forth for several minutes before Rollins almost won the WWE Championship as he countered the Claymore Kick into a Stomp.

The champion kicked out at two, and as Rollins went for a second Stomp, McIntyre landed another Glasgow Kiss and hit an emphatic Claymore Kick for the 1-2-3.

After the match, both men shook hands as McIntyre proved himself as the leader on Monday Night Raw.

Asuka def. Lacey Evans, Carmella, Dana Brooke, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax to win the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder match and Otis def. AJ Styles, King Corbin, Aleister Black, Daniel Bryan & Rey Mysterio to win the Men's Money In The Bank Ladder match

Asuka appeared above all the women while the men faced off in the gym. The Empress Of Tomorrow quickly took out all the competition as she dived on them and called for the lift. This gave her an early advantage as she danced her way to the upper floors.

King Corbin quickly caused destruction at Titan Towers as he threw some weights into a mirror in the gym, causing it to shatter. Styles' chances looked bleak early in the match as Otis pinned him to the floor with some weights.

Brother Love made a cameo as the male Superstars ran through WWE Headquarters as he was spotted by Rey Mysterio exiting the bathroom.

Chaos ensued as the men and women brawled amongst each other on the second floor.

The field separated out soon after as the women battled through the Money In The Bank conference room, and Styles escaped from under the weights and went hunting for Mysterio. The Phenomenal One was quickly traumatised, however, as he found The Undertaker's casket in a room and was locked inside by Aleister Black.

We then cut to Paul Heyman enjoying a banquet only to have it destroyed as all Superstars except Styles faced off in a food fight. The men even fought the women as Shayna Baszler choked out The Master Of The 619.

The action separated once again as the Superstars climbed the corporate ladder. Styles managed to escape and caught up with the rest of the Superstars for the first time.

Daniel Bryan and Styles made a grave mistake as they brawled into Vince McMahon's office. The boss ordered them to get out and they duly obliged.

The broadcast then finally cut to the roof as Asuka and Nia Jax were the first to make it into the ring. Lacey Evans joined them within moments but Jax quickly overpowered her and Asuka.

Lacey and The Empress Of Tomorrow managed to regain their composure and the three women brawled in the ring for several minutes before Asuka scaled the ladder and captured the Women's Money In The Bank briefcase, knocking King Corbin to the floor in the process after he made his way to the roof.

The rest of the male field then made it to the roof and Corbin seemingly murdered Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio as he tossed them from the roof and a loud bang was heard below.

The four remaining Superstars then battled it out before AJ Styles and King Corbin grabbed the briefcase. To the surprise of everyone, Elias suddenly appeared and forced Corbin to release his grip as he smashed him across the back with a guitar.

Styles then inexplicably fumbled the briefcase into the hands of Otis.

With that, Otis won the Men's Money In The Bank Ladder match by being in the right place at the right time.
