WWE Network In The UK And Ireland To Be Free Until January 1
WWE Network to be free in the UK and Ireland until January 1 2025 ahead of shutdown
Dec 2, 2024
The WWE Network is shutting its doors ahead of WWE’s deal with Netflix going live in January 2025. Before then, subscribers in the UK and Ireland can enjoy the final month of the Network for free.
In an email sent out to current subscribers, WWE revealed that the last month of access to the WWE Network would be on the house, with users needing to move over to Netflix from January:
"Dear WWE Network Subscriber,
"On January 1, 2025, WWE Network will no longer be available in your area and Netflix will be the new exclusive home of WWE. As a result, subscription to WWE Network has been disabled in the app store and will not renew on your next billing date.
"As a thank you for being for being a fan and valued subscriber, we welcome you to continue enjoying WWE Network with complimentary access until December 31, 2024, after which you will need to subscribe to Netflix to continue enjoying WWE content, including all Premium Live Events as well as Raw, SmackDown and NXT -- streaming live, in one place, for the first time ever. If you already have a Netflix subscription, you’re all set."
As part of WWE’s historic deal to stream Raw on Netflix, all weekly WWE content will also move onto the platform, alongside live PLE events and ‘select’ programming and historic pay per view events from WWE’s past.
