WWE Not Planning To Offer Tamina A New Deal

No new WWE deal planed for Tamina

Reports in the past week indicated that Tamina could be on her way out of WWE, after the second-generation star was removed from WWE’s internal roster.

Whilst nothing has been confirmed as to whether Tamina’s removal from the internal roster is a signal of the end of her time in the company, a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that WWE are not intending to offer Tamina a new contract.

The former Women’s Tag Team Champion has not featured on WWE TV since February 2023 - a loss to Michin on Main Event. An earlier report stated that whilst Tamina was not expected to return to TV, she is viewed as a locker room leader and ‘mother’ figure to younger members of WWE’s women’s roster, and it ‘would not be surprising’ to see Tamina remain with the company in some capacity.

Tamina is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer ‘Superfly’ Jimmy Snuka and a member of the prestigious Anoa’i wrestling family. Since signing with WWE since 2010, Tamina has held the Women’s Tag Team Championships on one occasion (with Natalya) and had nine runs as 24/7 Champion.
