WWE NXT 2.0 Results - October 19, 2021

The final stop before Halloween Havoc

NXT 2.0 aired the final build for Halloween Havoc from the WWE Performance Center on October 19.

NXT 2.0 opened with new North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and his ally Trick Williams. After some celebrating, Johnny Gargano interrupted Hayes and admitted he had lost his "way" with Austin Theory now on Raw, Indi Hartwell married and Candice LeRae at home pregnant. Hayes then claimed Hartwell had been in his DM's all week and Gargano went along with it until he introduced Dexter Lumis, who appeared behind the NXT North American Champion and Williams. Lumis initially grabbed Williams in a choke before Hayes made the save, leaving The Way to stand tall to end the segment.

NXT also had the final build to the NXT Championship match in the main event with another CAN THEY CO-EXIST?! tag team match as Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker teamed together against Grizzled Young Veterans. In a match that quickly became a showcase for Bron Breakker, the young Steiner picked up the win for his team after 10 minutes with a Military Press Powerslam. Ciampa and Breakker yelled at each other during the match and they ended NXT staring each other down.

The stipulation for the NXT Women's Tag Team Title match at Halloween Havoc was also determined on October 19. Io Shirai, Persia Pirotta and Jacy Jayne fought for the right to spin the wheel in a Triple Threat Match but Jayne was taken out of the match early following a botched Suicide Dive. Pirotta and Shirai then fought back and forth until the former NXT Women's Champion won the match with her patented Moonsault. The Genius Of The Sky then spun the wheel and it landed on a Scareway To Hell Ladder Match.

Another title match was set for Halloween Havoc elsewhere on the October 19 episode. Imperium faced The Creed Brothers and Marcel Barthel pinned Julius Creed with an O'Connor Roll following interference from Kushida and Ikemen Jiro. MSK then laid out Imperium after the match and challenged them to an NXT Tag Team Championship match next week.

Elsewhere on NXT, Odyssey Jones defeated Andre Chase, Joe Gacy promised to guide Harland to a safe space, Cora Jade pinned Elektra Lopez with an Inside Cradle, LA Knight vanquished Grayson Waller for the right to host Halloween Havoc, Kyle O'Reilly and Von Wagner trained in the woods and toasted to working together, and Legado Del Fantasma defeated Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs after they brawled backstage.

Tony D'Angelo was also in action on NXT 2.0, quickly defeating Ru Feng. Samantha Irvin then interviewed D'Angelo after the match about the disappearance of Lash Legend's producer, Mark. D'Angelo swore on his grandfather's grave that he knew nothing about it before he handed Irvin some money and told her to buy something nice and forget about it.

The full results from NXT 2.0 are as follows:

  • Odyssey Jones def. Andre Chase
  • Imperium def. The Creed Brothers
  • Cora Jade def. Elektra Lopez
  • Io Shirai def. Persia Pirotta & Jacy Jayne
  • Tony D'Angelo def. Ru Feng
