WWE NXT & AEW Dynamite To Go Head-To-Head Due To Presidential Election

Presidential Election coverage means AEW & WWE NXT will go head-to-head

The Wednesday Night Wars will resume for one night only on November 6, with All Elite Wrestling and WWE NXT set to go head-to-head once more due to the US Presidential Election.

The election between Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican former president Donald Trump is set for November 5, 2024 with NXT moving as a result to avoid a bad rating, with a live edition of the black and gold show set for November 6.

News of the schedule change was confirmed on Wrestlevotes Radio on Sportskeeda, who announced the following:

“I can report that on Wednesday, November 6, NXT will be live on Wednesday due to election night here in the US… Election Night is November 5. There’ll be a lot of attention on who the next president of the United States will be. So in wise fashion, they were able to move their night off of Tuesday and will be airing on Wednesday, November 6, which will be going head-to-head with Dynamite.”

The two shows are next set to go head-to-head on October 8, with AEW presenting Dynamite Title Tuesday against NXT’s second episode on The CW.
