WWE NXT Deadline 2023 Main Event Made Official
The main event has been confirmed for WWE NXT Deadline 2023
With a little under a month until Deadline on December 9, NXT have wasted no time in making the main event for the show official.
As seen on the November 14 edition of NXT TV, the men’s NXT Championship will be on the line at Deadline, as Champion Ilja Dragunov puts the gold up against Baron Corbin.
Corbin has been targeting Dragunov for several weeks, attacking the champ at a moment’s notice, and making his intentions towards the title clear. On November 14 it was Dragunov’s turn to attack Corbin, bumrushing the ‘Lone Wolf’ after his win over Wes Lee in singles competition. However, Corbin came out on top, dropping Ilja with an End of Days.
As Corbin made his way to the back Dragunov took a mic to tell Corbin he will get his shot at the title at Deadline, adding that Corbin had made a ‘grave mistake’.
