WWE NXT Prospect Receives New Name

Could their NXT TV debut be near?

A prospective NXT talent has been given a new name.

WWE revealed a new batch of Performance Center recruits in November 2022, with their names and accolades read out at an NXT television taping.

Among those listed was Monika Klisara, a Canadian athlete who represented her country in karate, winning a gold medal at the Commonwealth Championships in 2018.

The 27-year-old made her in-ring debut at a non-televised NXT live event on March 13 and has wrestled six matches since.

For future matches, Klisara will be known as 'Karmen Petrovic'. She recently altered her social media accounts to reflect the name change. She is of Serbian and Croatian descent and emigrated to Canada during her childhood.

Klisara posted a picture captioned 'Allow me to reintroduce myself', announcing the new moniker. She has cited Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill' films as inspiration for her character.

Though she has yet to wrestle on television, Klisara has appeared on NXT TV. She was the therapist who finally got answers out of Von Wagner on the June 6 episode of the show.
