WWE NXT's Yulisa Leon Dealing With Serious Knee Injury

NXT star Yulisa Leon is set for a spell on the sidelines. 

During last night's episode of NXT, Leon told Valentina Feroz and Sanga that 'it's torn'. She is set to be out of action for up to nine months. It was obvious that she has suffered some sort of knee injury, as she was wearing a knee brace. It was not specified what exactly was 'torn'. 

Sanga said that they needed to turn a negative situation into a positive one and that now would be Valentina's time to shine. Feroz and Leon had previously been working as a tag team on NXT and NXT Level Up. 

Feroz tweeted: "You will come back stronger. We will still be together again. I will be by your side!" during last night's show. 

Leon last competed on the August 2 edition of NXT, teaming with Feroz to unsuccessfully challenge for the vacant NXT Women's Tag Team Championship belts in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match.
