WWE NXT Spoilers For August 24 Episode

WWE NXT taped their August 24 episode on Monday, August 23, as well as two editions of 205 Live at the Capitol Wrestling Center. The black and gold brand will tape two more editions of NXT in the coming days before resuming live tapings.

August 24 episode of NXT:

• Cameron Grimes and Ted DiBiase opened the show to celebrate Grimes' Million Dollar Title win.
• Ridge Holland def. Timothy Thatcher. A brawl took place between Holland, Thatcher, Pete Dunne and Tommaso Ciampa after the match. Oney Lorcan and the returning Danny Burch then headed to the ring to make it a four-on-two beatdown of Ciampa and Thatcher. 
• Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis announced their wedding will be on September 14.
• Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter def. Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne
• Raquel Gonzalez cut a promo, during which she mentioned Kay Lee Ray. Gonzalez was then interrupted by Franky Monet, Jessi Kamea and Robert Stone.
• Kay Lee Ray def. Valentina Feroz
• Samoa Joe cut a promo and was interrupted by Pete Dunne, LA Knight and Kyle O'Reilly. Ridge Holland attacked O'Reilly to provoke a brawl. Tommaso Ciampa made the save and The Blackheart and Joe stared down Holland and Dunne to end the segment.  
• Carmelo Hayes def. Odyssey Jones - NXT Breakout Tournament
• Xyon Quinn def. Boa after a distraction from Mei Ying.
• Johnny Gargano asked William Regal to call off the Lumis-Hartwell wedding. LA Knight interrupted and they all yelled at each other.
• Malcolm Bivens announced Roderick Strong will have an open challenge next week. Bivens also claimed Strong is the uncrowned Cruiserweight Champion.
• Ridge Holland vs. Tommaso Ciampa was set for August 31
• Legado del Fantasma def. Hit Row. B-Fab attacked Santos Escobar near the end of the match while the referee was distracted. A woman then attacked B-Fab with a weapon.

August 27 episode of 205 Live:

• Grayson Waller def. Andre Chase. Drake Maverick was on commentary.
• Ikemen Jiro def. Trey Baxter

September 3 episode of 205 Live:

• Amari Miller def. Cora Jade
• Joe Gacy def. Josh Briggs
