WWE NXT Spoilers For December 19 Episode

WWE NXT held a round of television tapings on December 13, recording two episodes of NXT TV back-to-back, with the first of these pre-taped shows set to air on December 19.

NXT kicked off with a singles match between former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, and Fallon Henley. Henley pulled off the win with a roll-up, leaving Stratton incensed. The two got into an altercation after the match, fighting to the back where Stratton dumped the contents of a bin all over Henley.

December 19 will also see the first more round matches of the Men’s Breakout Tournament take place. Lexis King defeated Dion Lennox to book his slot against Riley Osbourne in the semi finals, whilst Tavion Heights defeated Luca Crusifino to set up the other semi final against Oba Femi.

New NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee put the title on the line, defeating Charlie Dempsey and Joe Coffey in Triple threat action. Originally the match was set to be Lee vs. Dempsey, but Gallus made their way to the ring, with Coffey demanding he be added to the bout. Lee got the win over Dempsey with Operation Dragon, as Coffey was mysteriously pulled underneath the ring…

In NXT’s main event NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov took on a returning Ridge Holland, but the match was called off by referees after Holland dumped Ilja on top of his head. Dragunov was stretchered to the back as a concerned Ridge was spoken to by refs, and it remains to be seen if the champ will make it to New Year’s Evil on January 2.
