WWE NXT Stand & Deliver Confirmed For April 2

A busy day of wrestling

The date for NXT Stand & Deliver, the development brand's first non-Tuesday show since December, has been confirmed.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker opened yesterday's edition of NXT and announced Stand & Deliver will take place on Saturday, April 2 in Dallas, Texas. No other details about the upcoming event were revealed.

Reports had noted that WWE planned to hold Stand & Deliver on April 2, the same day as night one of WrestleMania 38. The current plan would see the show run as a matinee event, beginning at 12 pm and running until 3 pm.

NXT held the first Stand & Deliver, then a TakeOver show, during WrestleMania 37 week, with the show taking place over two nights on Wednesday, April 7 and Thursday, April 8.

The shows featured several major matches, including Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly, Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed for the North American Title, WALTER vs. Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT UK Title and an NXT Championship match between then-champion Finn Balor against Karrion Kross.
