WWE NXT TakeOver: 30 Results

August 22, 2020, will be remembered as a night in which NXT saw a number of changes. Two new champions were crowned as Damian Priest outlasted four other men to win the North American Championship in a Ladder match, and Karrion Kross ended Keith Lee's brief title reign to become the new NXT Champion.

How long both men will hold on to their respective titles is unknown but many expect The Herald Of Doomsday to be the man to beat on the black and gold brand for some time. 

NXT may have also discovered it's next star as former NFL punter Pat McAfee impressed many in his match against Adam Cole. While the former Indianapolis Colt didn't leave Full Sail University with a victory, his arrogant character and in-ring work only left fans wanting more.  

Elsewhere on the show, Finn Balor did just enough to defeat Timothy Thatcher, Io Shirai overcame interference from Raquel Gonzalez to retain the NXT Women's Championship against Dakota Kai, and Breezango became the new Number One Contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
