WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House Results
Did the Backlot Brawl deliver...
WWE NXT's next major event is finally here as NXT TakeOver: In Your House was broadcast from Full Sail University and a backlot in Winter Park, Florida.
The show featured four big matches as Adam Cole and The Velveteen Dream went one on one in a Backlot Brawl, Karrion Kross faced off against Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee defended the North American Championship against Johnny Gargano, and Charlotte Flair, Io Shirai, and Rhea Ripley battled it out for the NXT Women's Title.
The event was received well overall, but the NXT Title match did garner a mixed reaction. The main event was marked out for praise, however, and ended with a feel-good moment as The Genius Of The Sky Io Shirai finally captured the NXT Women's Championship and celebrated in the ring as TakeOver went off the air.
