WWE NXT UK Prelude Announced For WrestleMania 37 Week

NXT UK will take centre stage for a special event the week of WWE WrestleMania, entitled NXT UK Prelude. 

The NXT UK special will be broadcast on Thursday 8 April, before the second night of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, and will be viewable on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network across the world. 

The event will kick off at 3pm EST (8pm BST), taking the slot of the usual NXT UK weekly broadcast. 

Two matches for the NXT UK Prelude event have already been confirmed. It was announced during Thursday's NXT UK that United Kingdom Champion WALTER would defend his title against Rampage Brown.

NXT UK general manager Johnny Saint has also announced that Tyler Bate will face Noam Dar in a match that will determine the number one contender to the Heritage Cup Championship, which is held by A-Kid.

NXT UK Prelude is added to what is already a stacked week of content for WWE in the build to WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium. At time of writing, WWE will be broadcasting an event every day for nine consecutive days - should NXT's rumoured switch to Tuesday nights be confirmed - with two events on Thursday 8 April.
