WWE NXT Women's Championship Match Set For July 20
A tag-team match has also been announced
Raquel Gonzalez's next challenger for the NXT Women's Championship has been confirmed.
WWE has announced that Gonzalez will defend her title against Xia Li on the July 20 episode of NXT.
The bout was made official following the opening segment of this week's edition of the black-and-gold brand. Gonzalez was in Dakota Kai's corner as she took on Ember Moon, and watched on as her tag-team partner claimed the win.
Following the match, Li made her way down to the ring, stood face-to-face-with Gonzalez and told her she stood in the way of her destiny. Gonzalez would nod and tell Li to 'show up this time', with the Championship match being made official for next week later in the show.
Also confirmed for next week's NXT is a tag-team match which puts Diamond Mine's Roderick Strong and Tyler Rust against Bobby Fish and NXT Cruiserweight Champion KUSHIDA. The bout was made after Strong cost former Undisputed Era teammate Fish his match with Rust, before KUSHIDA came out to aid the defeated competitor.
