WWE Offers Deal To Giulia

Giulia has been offered a deal by WWE

Recent reports indicated that WWE were looking at Giulia, with it suggested that WWE were actively attempting to bring the STARDOM main eventer over to the Performance Center as soon as possible.

A new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that WWE have in fact offered the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion a deal, although the details of a supposed offer have not been made public.

When news of WWE’s interest in Giulia first broke it was believed that no approach could be made until Spring 2024, due to Giulia’s busy booking schedule, and what was believed to be the remains of a deal with STARDOM. Meltzer’s report suggests that STARDOM and owner Rossy Ogawa are ‘aware’ of WWE’s offer, but Giulia is close with Ogawa so nothing is concrete in terms of a move.

The earlier reported deal between Giulia and STARDOM is believed to be a verbal one, and if WWE have offered Giulia a main roster deal (starting around $250k) then it’ll be far more than she could earn if she stayed in Japan. However, if WWE have offered Giulia an NXT/developmental deal then that should be easily matched by STARDOM, although Meltzer noted that former STARDOM stars such as Io Shirai and Kairi Sane made the jump to NXT, with Sane even going back to STARDOM from WWE before returning to the organisation this year.
