WWE Officially Announces NXT TakeOver: XXX

WWE was originally scheduled to return to the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts for SummerSlam 2020, but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic means The Biggest Party Of The Summer will instead be broadcast from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on August 23. 

The TakeOver accompanying SummerSlam 2020 was announced by the company last night as William Regal revealed the next major event will be NXT TakeOver: XXX. The show will take place on August 22 at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida and will be broadcast on the WWE Network. 

Matches will be added to the card over the coming weeks but Regal announced last night that a new North American Champion will be crowned in a Ladder Match after Keith Lee relinquished the title last night. The competitors in the match will be determined over the next month through a series of Triple Threat Matches. Bronson Reed has already qualified for the bout after he defeated Roderick Strong and Johnny Gargano last night.
