WWE have officially created two new championships.
WWE Evolve authority figure Stevie Turner officially announced the creation of the WWE Evolve championships on Wednesday night's edition of Evolve. The inaugural men's and women's champions will be decided in four-way matches.
The women's four-way will be held on Wednesday, May 28 and Wendy Choo, Kali Armstrong, and Kendal Grey have already been announced for the match for the Evolve Women's Title.
The WWE Evolve Title four-way will take place on June 4 and Sean Legacy has already been added to the match, with the other competitors set to be announced in the coming weeks.
WWE Evolve was introduced earlier this year and primarily features developmental talents not on WWE NXT TV and WWE ID wrestlers. The show airs on Wednesday nights on Tubi in the United States and on WWE's YouTube channel in the United Kingdom. The brand is headed by former Evolve owner Gabe Sapolsky.
With the creation of the WWE Evolve Title and WWE Evolve Women's Title, it increases the number of active championships in WWE to 23.
