The Good Brothers - Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows - have rejoined New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
The Bullet Club OGs were widely expected to return to New Japan following their WWE releases in February, with The Young Bucks later teasing Gallows and Anderson to join them in an eight-man tag at NJPW Resurgence.
The match has now been made official, with The Bullet Club OGs taking on the BC War Dogs team of David Finlay, Clark Connors, Gabe Kidd, and Gedo on May 9, with Anderson releasing a hype video to X/Twitter talking of The Good Brothers’ return.
A report from Fightful Select states the GBs are indeed working again with NJPW, although it has not been revealed if they are working as freelancers or have signed deals. Regardless, the deal to bring Gallows and Anderson back into NJPW was apparently agreed some time back, but could not be publicly announced due to the team’s WWE no-compete clause which expired in the past few days.
Gallows and Anderson are three-time IWGP Tag Team Champions, and also won the 2013 World Tag League. Karl Anderson is also a one-time NEVER Openweight Champion in New Japan.
