WWE Pitched NXT At ECW Arena Match To Lita

WWE are bringing past ECW stars back into the fold for NXT’s upcoming show at the historic ECW Arena, and it seems a pitch was made for former ECW talent Lita to wrestle on the show.

Although best known for her WWE Hall of Fame-worthy run in WWE’s women’s division, Lita performed in ECW in the late 1990s as Miss Congeniality, and according to a report from Fightful Select, WWE reached out to Lita to participate in an eight-or-ten woman tag match on the show.

This was later followed up by Sean Ross Sapp on X/Twitter, claiming that the match pitting Fatal Influence, Cora Jade, and Roxanne Perez against Kelani Jordan, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Zaria, and Jordynne Grace was the one Lita had been pitched. That match was made official on the October 29 edition of WWE NXT TV.

Lita last wrestled at WWE WrestleMania 39 in 2023 before being written off TV whilst reigning as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Becky Lynch. There’s no word on if Lita will still appear on NXT in the 2300 Arena in some capacity or not.
