Logan Paul facing off with Jey Uso

Over the last few weeks, WWE have been building up a program between reigning World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Logan Paul, who is on the back of a big win over AJ Styles at WrestleMania 41. There was initially an expectation from fans that this match would be taking place at Backlash 2025, but nothing was ultimately announced for the show.

Instead, it seems like Jey Uso vs. Logan Paul for the World Heavyweight Championship will be taking place a couple of weeks later. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Uso vs. Paul is scheduled to be part of the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event show on May 24, which will emanate from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, marking the third of WWE’s rebooted SNME series. The previous two events took place on December 14, 2024 and January 25, 2025.

Jey Uso will be hoping for better luck this time around, as the last show saw him fall short to Gunther when challenging for the World Heavyweight Title. Current Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena is also scheduled to be a part of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
