Location For Next Saturday Night's Main Event Revealed, Plus John Cena Appearance

In December 2024, WWE rebooted the Saturday Night’s Main Event series, airing on NBC in the US and on YouTube internationally. Thus far, WWE have hosted two events on December 14, 2024 and January 25, 2025,  which have notably seen Chelsea Green crowned as the first ever Women’s United States Champion, cameos from Jesse Ventura, and a world title match between Gunther and Jey Uso. 

The next edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event takes place on May 24, and the location has officially been revealed. WWE will head to the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida for the show. The venue will host four straight WWE events over a weekend - Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday May 24, NXT Battleground on Sunday May 25, Monday Night RAW the following night on May 26, and finally NXT on Tuesday, May 27. 

In another big announcement, it was revealed that multi-time world champion John Cena will be present on the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, marking his first appearance on SNME since the reboot started. Cena recently turned heel ahead of his WrestleMania 41 Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes, so he could well walk into the event as a 17-time WWE World Champion.
