WWE Promotes Content Featuring AEW's Saraya

WWE Have Promoted A Show Which Takes A Look At AEW's Saraya

Aside from a shocking appearance from Chris Jericho on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, and a brief comment from Sami Zayn in a promo several years ago, WWE has avoided any mention of AEW. However, at times they have featured some contracted AEW names, such as when the likes of Bryan Danielson and Big Show appeared in videos on Raw to celebrate the career of John Cena.

Another case of WWE featuring an AEW wrestler cropped up over the last week, as WWE promoted an upcoming A&E "Biography: WWE Legends" episode which is set to cover AEW’s Saraya, who formerly wrestled in WWE as Paige.

Saraya responded to this on Twitter, thanking WWE for still going through with the episode despite her no longer being a WWE contracted talent;

“Make sure you tune in Sunday!! From becoming Paige to becoming Saraya. I watched it. Cried 3 times. Very hard to watch back but man I love to see the healthy transformation. Incredible journey I’m forever thankful. Thank you @WWEonAE for still showing this.”

Even though some AEW stars throw jibes at WWE, Saraya is someone who apparently left WWE on good terms, so seeing this positive tweet is of little surprise.
