WWE Raw Results - December 13, 2021

Big Bobby runs rampant

WWE headed to the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota for the December 13, 2021, episode of Monday Night Raw.

The show opened with Bobby Lashley and MVP following The All Mighty's attack on Big E, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens last week and MVP noted that Lashley felt disrespected and should be added to the WWE Championship match at the Day 1 pay-per-view.

This led to interruptions from Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, who both opposed Lashley being added to the title match. The only one who seemed open to the idea was WWE Champion Big E, who said he had no problem beating Lashley one more time. WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville then appeared and announced Lashley would be added to the WWE Title match at Day 1 if he could beat Big E, Rollins and Owens in singles matches throughout the show, an offer which Lashley was fine with.

Kevin Owens was the first man to face Lashley and after blocking a Stunner, The All Mighty applied the Hurt Lock and KO tapped out before Lashley could even full apply the hold as the second Universal Champion looked to avoid an injury.

It was later Seth Rollins' turn to halt Lashley's momentum and Owens had the ingenious plan to get Lashley disqualified so KO ran down to the ring and punched Rollins, causing the referee to call for the bell. The heels' celebrations were cut short, though, as Deville and Pearce reappeared and announced Lashley vs. Rollins would now be a No DQ match.

This new stipulation spelled disaster for Rollins on Raw and Lashley Speared him mere seconds into the restart for the victory.

Big E's time to stop Lashley then came in the main event as they faced off in a No DQ Match. Both men made deft use of the weapons, battering each other with tables, steel steps and steel chairs and Lashley looked to have the match won after he decked the WWE Champion with a Spear.

Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens suddenly charged to the ring, though, to break up the pin and they beat down Lashley until Big E attacked his Day 1 opponents to stop them from helping him. Owens and Rollins attacked Big E as a result and brawls between Big E and Owens and Lashley and Rollins broke out before Big E put Owens through a table with a Uranage and Lashley speared Rollins through another table.

This allowed Big E and Lashley to continue their match and Big E demanded Lashley get to his feet, only to be decked from behind with a cane by MVP. Lashley then capitalised with a Spear for the victory and the WWE Title match at Day 1 was officially turned into a Fatal 4-Way.

Edge and The Miz also continued their feud on Raw during a Miz TV segment in which The A-Lister and Maryse celebrated Miz's fake induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame. They then toasted to beating Edge at Day 1 which led to an interruption from the actual WWE Hall Of Famer.

After some talk about Miz being annoying, Edge noted The A-Lister would get all of the accolades if he would just shut up. The 48-year-old then revealed he actually thinks Miz is a future WWE Hall Of Famer, but he would still have to teach him a lesson at Day 1 and knock the constipated look off Miz's face at the pay-per-view.

Miz had heard enough and he attacked Edge, only for The Rated-R Superstar to fire back with an Edgecution. Edge then looked to follow up with a Spear but Miz pulled Maryse in front of him and the two-time WWE Champion took advantage with a Skull Crushing Finale.

Trouble in paradise could be brewing, though, as Maryse slapped her husband for daring to risk her safety.

The Raw Women's Championship match was also set for Day 1 and Becky Lynch will defend the gold against Liv Morgan in a rematch from the December 6 edition of Raw.

After promos about Becky using the ropes last week to win and Morgan wanting a rematch, a brawl broke out between the two women and Lynch ended the segment standing tall after she trapped Liv's arm between the steel steps and the ring post and repeatedly stomped on it while the powerless Morgan screamed in pain. With Liv having looked so weak, Big-Time-Becks had no problem accepting her challenge for Day 1.

Austin Theory as the chosen one continued elsewhere on Raw as he cost Finn Balor and Damian Priest their match against The Dirty Dawgs, distracting Balor, which allowed Dolph Ziggler to connect with a Zig-Zag for the win. Theory then tried to take a selfie with Balor but Priest chased off Vince McMahon's protege.

A meeting with the boss followed later in the show, during which McMahon presented Theory with the deadliest weapon in the world, a pencil and an eraser.

Elsewhere on Raw, Queen Zelina defeated Rhea Ripley inside 50 seconds with a roll-up after The Nightmare checked on Nikki A.S.H, Bianca Belair defeated Doudrop, and Otis pinned Riddle since the RK-Bro-nament was delayed two weeks due to injuries to The Street Profits and The Mysterios.
