Report: WWE Raw's Script Was Torn Up At The Last Minute

Another day of chaos...

On last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, Keith Lee made his full-time main roster debut with a new look, Asuka defended the Raw Women's Championship against Sasha Banks, and Apollo Crews cheated to defeat Bobby Lashley in an arm-wrestling contest.

Raw could have looked very different, however, as Mike Johnson at PWInsider reported the script for last night's show was "ripped up" at 7:20 pm ET, only 40 minutes before the episode went on the air. Johnson noted Vince McMahon arrived at the Amway Center around that time and proceeded to change "just about everything." Much of the second and third hours of the red brand were still being written at 7:45 pm ET.

This follows what has been a month of chaos at the company's TV tapings. Numerous planned storylines and angles were scrapped following The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, including the revival of The Nation Of Domination and Asuka's successful title defence against Sasha Banks. There has also been a lot of frustration backstage with the indecisiveness of people in power.
