All the focus of the rumour and innuendo surrounding WWE Superstars in recent times has revolved around those reportedly asking to leave the company. The likes of The Revival, Mike, and Maria Kanellis have all supposedly asked to leave the company - although Maria has denied this - which has whipped the wrestling world up into a frenzy with the likes of AEW and ROH signing world-class talent in their own right.

One of Raw's up and coming Superstars is set to have a spell on the sidelines if claims made by Dave Meltzer of the

Wrestling Observer Newsletter

are to be believed.

Akam of the Authors of Pain has reportedly been in some pain recently, as he's said to be dealing with a leg injury that will keep him out for a couple of months.

For the avoidance of any doubt, here's what Dave said on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio: “Akam of the Authors of Pain is hurt. I don’t know the nature of the injury but it’s a leg injury, he’s going to be out for a couple of months, I understand.”

Dave followed this up by saying that he'd be looking to confirm this story soon.

Akam hasn't wrestled since the December 26 MSG Live Event, teaming with Rezar to take on The Revival and Chad Gable & Bobby Roode in a three-way tag match.
