WWE Re-Signs Another Top Star

Top star signs WWE contract extension

WWE have been dishing out the new contracts in recent weeks and another top star has been confirmed as signing a new deal.

Both Mike Johnson of PWInsider and Fightful Select have reported that Bayley has put pen to paper on a new multi-year deal with WWE. Bayley's contract extension was said to be a priority for the company and the Damage CTRL member is well-liked backstage amongst staff and her fellow wrestlers.

Bayley is just the latest high-profile talent to sign a contract extension. Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio have signed new deals in recent weeks. Dominik is believed to be on a new five-year deal while Rey's contract is for three years. Charlotte Flair also signed a huge contract extension that makes her one of the highest-paid female talents in WWE history.

WWE have been looking to lock down a number of talents as they want to prevent them from becoming free agents in 2024. The company dished out a swathe of five-year deals in 2019 following the founding of All Elite Wrestling and those contracts are ultimately expiring next year.

Bayley has been a part of WWE since 2012 and she has been one of the top stars in the women's division for many years. In addition to being one of the Four Horsewomen with Becky Lynch, Mercedes Moné, and Charlotte Flair, Bayley is a three-time WWE Women's Champion and two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion.
