WWE Releases Bryson Montana

Bryson Montana out of WWE

Cuts to WWE NXT have seemingly begun as following the announcement that Quincy Elliott was gone from WWE, Bryson Montana has revealed he is no longer a part of the company.

Montana posted on social media: "As of today my run with WWE has come to an end. Thanks to everyone that's been apart of this chapter with me now it's on to the next chapter (A familiar chapter)."

Real name Jacoby Brooks, Bryson Montana signed with WWE back in August 2021 following tryouts around SummerSlam in Las Vegas, Nevada. Montana served in the United States Navy before he signed with WWE and he was also a bodybuilder. He made his WWE in-ring debut on a May 2022 episode of NXT Level Up.

Montana only had 22 matches during his run with WWE and only one of them was on NXT TV proper. That match was a Battle Royal in March 2023.

Other talents released today include Dolph Ziggler, Elias, Mustafa Ali, Shelton Benjamin, Top Dolla, Riddick Moss, Emma, Aliyah, and Rick Boogs. Talent cuts have taken place following the merger between WWE and UFC into TKO Group Holdings that was completed on September 12.
