WWE Releasing Legacy Titles For European Football Clubs

WWE has been known to create a whole bunch of custom championships over the years, whether it be to commemorate anniversaries, wrestling legends, teams in the NFL, or more. WWE’s latest line of custom titles have come in the form of major European football teams, as revealed yesterday by WWE.

“The WWE Legacy Title Belts, representing a select group of the biggest football clubs in the world, are emblazoned with the unique colors and official markings of each team. The collection follows the release of officially licensed NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and Collegiate WWE Legacy Title Belts.”

This new line of WWE Legacy championships will feature official club crests and colours from 13 different teams from across the European continent. These include:

• Manchester United
• Manchester City
• AC Milan
• Paris Saint Germain 
• Borussia Dortmund 
• Juventus 
• Inter Milan 
• Celtic
• Rangers 
• Chelsea 
• Tottenham Hotspur 
• West Ham United
• Aston Villa

This comes alongside WWE’s European tour on the Road To WrestleMania, which sees WWE visit the likes of Spain, Belgium, Italy, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England for episodes of Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. It is an interesting selection of teams chosen by WWE, but it is clear that they do not like Liverpool or Arsenal, and understandably so.
