Backstage Reaction To Moose's NXT Appearances

Reigning TNA X-Division Champion Moose competed in a highly acclaimed matchup at the recent NXT Roadblock 2025 TV special in a losing effort to reigning men’s NXT Champion Oba Femi. Moose appeared at three recent NXT shows, first to show up and confront Femi, second to defend his title against Lexis King, and lastly against Femi at Roadblock.

Moose is one of several TNA wrestlers to have made cameo appearances in WWE over the last several months of their working relationship, along with names such as Joe Hendry, Jordynne Grace, The Rascalz, Ash by Elegance (FKA Dana Brooke), JDC (FKA Fandango), and more. WWE have clearly been impressed by several of these crossover appearances, signing Grace to the company and allowing Hendry to compete in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match. Moose is another who has made his mark. 

Fightful Select have noted that those behind the scenes in WWE have been happy with Moose, with it stated that he “made a good impression”. Whether this means that Moose will have more NXT appearances or be on WWE’s radar for the future is not clear at this time.
