In video packages regarding social media buzz and major moments, WWE has often featured clips of professional wrestling reactors on Monday Night RAW, Friday Night SmackDown, and PLEs, with many of these streamers being huge advocates for WWE’s product, being known to bring in fresh fans and new viewers. However, a big crackdown on these streamers has reportedly taken place this week.

Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert wrote that WWE and its legal team have been targeting several online personalities streaming WWE reactions, with the company taking down and sending copyright strikes to several content creators and taking down clips and reactions. Fightful Select noted that WWE are working with a company called StreamEnforcement, which uses bots to target streamers. Although this is automated, the company name being “StreamEnforcement” is pretty damning on WWE’s potential intentions regarding this area of wrestling content.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline confirmed that WWE has “totally clamped down this week”, noting that several big names had been dinged and were needing to take down a lot of their content from social media. Alvarez revealed that many in WWE were shocked by this due to the scope these content creators have.
