WWE's Shinsuke Nakamura Sparks Speculation With Deleted Tweet: "See You My Friends..."

Nakamura quickly deleted his message

Shinsuke Nakamura has ignited speculation among WWE fans after sending a Tweet which read "See you my friends..." before quickly deleting it.

The WWE Intercontinental Champion took to social media on Tuesday evening to post the message, but appeared to almost immediately remove it from his Twitter feed. Reddit user u/Hvitrulfr was able to capture a screenshot of the message before Nakamura deleted it however, and it can be viewed below.

While Nakamura has not posted since nor offered any clarification as to what his Tweet was regarding, some fans believe Nakamura was saying farewell to NXT duo Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly, both of whom are reported to be leaving WWE following the expiration of their respective deals this week.

Both Gargano and O'Reilly made what is expected to be their final appearances on WWE NXT television on Tuesday, with O'Reilly losing to Von Wagner in a Cage Match and Gargano being attacked by Grayson Waller following an emotional promo.

Nakamura has been Intercontinental Champion since August, defeating Apollo Crews for the Title, and was last in action in a Champion Vs. Champion Match against Damian Priest at Survivor Series.
