WWE have slashed ticket prices for the Monday Night Raw event in Long Island, New York, in November after struggling to sell seats for the taping at a venue where AEW have nearly sold out a show for a few days later.

WWE are due to host their first-ever show at the UBS Arena in Long Island on Monday 29 November, with the venue set to open in a couple of weeks, but ticket sales for the Monday Night Raw show have been lacklustre.

The promotion have already announced that Universal Champion - and Friday Night Smackdown star - Roman Reigns will be at the event in an effort to increase interest, and WrestleTix are now reporting that WWE have been forced to completely slash their prices.

It is noted that, in some sections of the venue, WWE's prices have halved. Upper deck seating that was previously marked at $30 is being sold for $15.

WWE have, per the report, sold just over 3,000 tickets for their show so far but their ticket prices in most, if not all, sections are now lower than what AEW have set theirs at for the UBS Arena.

AEW are due to present Dynamite and Rampage from the UBS Arena on December 8 and have sold or distributed 7,639 tickets so far, meaning the promotion are close to selling out the venue.
