WWE SmackDown Ratings Drop For Survivor Series Go-Home Show

A dip for the blue brand

The November 19 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw a slight decline in viewership heading into this past weekend's Survivor Series pay-per-view.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, the go-home edition of SmackDown averaged 2.064 million viewers, which was a slight dip of 1.9 per cent from the previous week's show. The audience number is the lowest total acquired by the blue brand since the end of July.

SmackDown also saw a decrease in the crucial 18-49 demographic, with the audience number registered a 7.1 per cent lower than the prior week - coming in at a 0.52 rating. This matches the lowest number in the category since the July 9 show, which was the week before WWE moved their weekly productions back in front of live crowds.

Overall, SmackDown finished third on the networks in the 18-49 demo, coming in behind ABC show 20/20 and Shark Tank. It is also worth noting that cable news, and Fox News in particular, also saw much higher viewership than usual due to coverage of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict announcement.
