WWE SmackDown Returning To USA Network From October 2024

WWE SmackDown heading back to the USA Network

The future of Friday Night SmackDown in the United States has become clearer.

TKO Group Holdings announced today that WWE and NBCUniversal have agreed to a new five-year United States media rights deal that will see SmackDown return to the USA Network from October 2024. WWE will also produce four primetime specials per year that will air on NBC as part of the new agreement.

Monday Night Raw and WWE NXT already air on USA Network. Both shows will continue to air on the network until at least September 2024, it was noted within the press release. SmackDown previously aired on Tuesday nights on USA between 2016 and October 2019. SmackDown has aired on FOX since then but that arrangement will, obviously, end next year.

WWE President Nick Khan said: "NBCUniversal has been a tremendous partner of WWE for decades. We are excited to extend this longstanding relationship by bringing SmackDown to USA Network on Friday nights and look forward to debuting multiple WWE special events annually on NBC."

In addition to weekly programming, WWE pay-per-views air on NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service in the United States.
