WWE SmackDown To Air From Germany For The First Time Ever Ahead Of Bash In Berlin

WWE SmackDown to take place in Berlin, Germany ahead of Bash in Berlin

WWE will make history in the Summer of 2024 as the company plans to broadcast Friday Night SmackDown from Germany for the first time ever.

SmackDown will take place in Deutschland on Friday, August 30, 2024. The show will be the go-home edition of SmackDown before WWE Bash in Berlin on Saturday, August 31. Both events will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin.

WWE decided to hold SmackDown in Berlin due to the "incredible early pre-registration response for Bash in Berlin." Fans can register for an exclusive presale offer now. The presale for combo tickets will begin on Tuesday, November 28 at 10 am CET. Tickets will then go on general sale for SmackDown and Bash in Berlin on Thursday, November 30 at 10 am CET.

Bash in Berlin will be one of two European pay-per-views held by WWE in 2024. The other will be Backlash on May 4 at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France. The company has begun to hold more pay-per-views in Europe again in recent years and two premium live events have already taken place in the UK in Clash at the Castle and Money in the Bank.
