WWE's Bayley Tops PWI Women's 100

The Four Horsewomen and Asuka round out the top 5...

Pro Wrestling Illustrated announced earlier today that SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley had topped the 2020 PWI Women's 100. The other three members of the Four Horsewomen of WWE and Asuka rounded out the top five.

The evaluation period ran from October 1, 2019, to September 30, 2020. Special consideration was given to work history and momentum because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Wrestlers were ranked using the following criteria:
• Championships won
• Quality of opposition
• Technical proficiency
• Win-loss records
• Overall activity
• Momentum/promotional "push"

During the evaluation period, Bayley has dominated Friday Night SmackDown as the women's champion, defeating the likes of Lacey Evans, Charlotte Flair, Asuka and Naomi. Her ongoing storyline with Sasha Banks has also been widely praised by WWE fans.

Bell To Belles worked with Pro Wrestling Illustrated to create the rankings. They released the top 10 earlier today, which you can check out below:
1. Bayley
2. Becky Lynch
3. Asuka
4. Charlotte Flair
5. Sasha Banks
6. Hikaru Shida
7. Tessa Blanchard
