WWE To Hold Tryout For UK & European Talents

WWE’s upcoming European tour will feature try out sessions for European and UK independent wrestling talents.

The report comes via Fightful Select who state that the try out sessions will be held in London, England in early March, with interested talents having until February 28 to register their interest in the session. Talents from European promotions such as wXw, OTT, and PROGRESS amongst others are expected to attend.

The news comes after the announcement of the WWE ID programme in late 2024, with some wondering why no UK or European talents were signed up to the programme. Whilst WWE ID currently only has talents from the North American independent scene signed up there’s no word yet on if it will come to include those working the European indies.

WWE’s European tour kicks off shortly after the planned tryout sessions, with the promotion set to visit Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Austria, and the Netherlands ahead of WrestleMania 41. WWE will be hosting episodes of Raw and SmackDown during this tour, as well as several house shows. Tickets for the European tour are already available.
