WWE To Honour The Rock Throughout November

The 25-year anniversary of his WWE debut

WWE have announced that November will be dedicated to celebrating the 25 year anniversary of The Rock's debut in the promotion.

The company have revealed on social media that the whole month will be a celebration of The Great One, which will include a new 'Best Of The Rock' series which will air on Peacock and the WWE Network.

November will be dedicated to the iconic moments and matches that The Rock has given the WWE Universe, having made his debut for the WWE on November 17 1996 at Survivor Series in Madison Square Garden. That evening, a young man named Rocky Maivia became WWE's first-ever third generation superstar and was the sole survivor for his team.

This year's Survivor Series pay-per-view will mark the 25th anniversary of The Rock's debut, and speculation has run wild throughout the year that the Brahma Bull could make some form of appearance at the show. However, the most recent reports suggest that will not be the case, due to The Rock being in Australia at the time of Survivor Series.

There has also been reports that The Rock is set for a major WrestleMania showdown with cousin Roman Reigns in the future, although that bout does not appear set to happen at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas next year.
